The level of community transmission of Covid-19 in Greene County is at moderate after being rated as high for several months. The rating is based on the number of hospital admissions related to Covid-19, the number of hospital beds needed by Covid-19 patients, and the number of new cases.
Greene County public health director Becky Wolf reported March 14 there have been a total of 1,885 cases in the county, up just two from a week ago. There have been 21 deaths in the county attributed to Covid-19 since the pandemic began two years ago.
Positivity rates are no longer given as providers no longer report negative test results.
